The Baumann BASA helps maximize the efficiency of any paper cutter by preparing each load for fast production. The BASA system can be programmed to jog, aerate, separate and deliver an exact number of sheets onto a paper cutter without operator intervention. The result is a productivity increased of up to 50% for most workflows and cutting systems.
BASA automatically destacks, jogs and transfers printed sheets to the subsequent finishing process. Partial layers are destacked from the pile, fanned out and aerated. One complete layer is built from the partial layers on top of the jogging table and is aligned precisely. All parameters, which influence the jogging process, can immediately be adjusted to suit the current material or product. An intelligent program management system guarantees very short set-up times.
Schneider Engineering’s paper handling machines feature an unloader that accelerates the unloading of the finishing materials process. The operator is relieved of the taxing work involved in positioning the reams on the skids which produces greater capacity and increased operator safety. Heavy and different material is easily positioned on the discharge position.
